Years ago there was an artist, Bernard X Bovasso; he called the type of works that some of us were inclined to do: 'A North American response to Mythic Thinking' - When I first looked at your images (mythic events) I was so reminded. Not much is available about BXB (as he was known) online but one day the story will be told. Your work is wonderfully free to wonder in all the ways capable! Your style and the natural media you use make the viewer imagine each event as if it were animated... So your work is much appreciated by this viewer - will await more of your odyssey!! Best-of-Life, Terrance

Thank you Terrance. I appreciate your comment very much! It's true --I try to capture a moment of a dream or a thought where I am a story teller or a main figure. I will look up Bernard X Bovasso. Best, Valentina

About Valentina Plishchina

Valentina Plishchina

I love to experiment in different media. I do jewelry, mosaic, textile art, paintings and drawings. My main inspiration comes from within. My artwork embraces my heart and soul. Each piece of work is very dear to me, because it reflects my deepest thoughts and feelings. The process of making each work is unique every time. Sometimes I carry the idea for a long time, sometimes I don't even think about it. It just seats in my subconsciousness, and when I start to paint it flows from my brush. new Etsy.Mini(8030369,'thumbnail',5,1,0,'http://www.etsy.com');
